RX-7 VAF sensor?

I was on a Protege site and saw that some people put a VAF sensor from a Rex on their gen 1 Proteges...they said it worked much better above 6000 RPMs. I was wondering if this would be applicable to the gen 3 2.0L as well....hmmm. Just wonderin'.

It will not work. The G3 Pro uses a hot-wire-style MAF sensor, not a trapdoor-style VAF like a G1 Pro. The electrical output of the 2 styles of sensors is incompatible. They are not interchangeable.
