Jester....I for one am NOT trying to prove you wrong....you said that the dealer told you it was a MAZDASPEED....and I have NO DOUBT that he did....I would even believe that they put a mazdaspeed sticker on it.....which BTW is WRONG....and if they are telling people that they are mazdaspeed intakes....they are lieing to them.....they lied to you.....and some unsuspecting people that don't know any better will lay down 250 bones for something that they could have gotten a LOT cheaper....but spent the money just because some goofus at a mazda dealer thought he would try to rip some people off......that is all.....I am still going to call....just see what their story is.....and if in fact they are trying to rip people off by misrepresenting Racing Beat parts as Mazdaspeed parts.....I plan on writing Mazda USA about it....becuase that is just WRONG.

i understand what you are saying Sir Nuke. I meant no disrespect. I misunderstood what you were saying at first and i do agree with you, they should not say its mazdaspeed if they didnt make it. I look everywhere for a nice priced Injen Intake and Mazda supposedly has the Injen for $258. I looked all around the internet and found injen intakes for $280. So i think i will stick with mazda on this one. And why are you chewing me out "THEMAN"?! What did i do to you. I never threw any slander at you. I am just trying to enjoy the forum, and spread Protege 5 props.

I took the time and I called the dealer that jaster had been too. There was some MISCOMMUNICATION.....the intake that his dealer is selling through their aftermarket parts department is in fact the INJEN CAI for the 2.0L Pro....and they are covering it under warranty as well....

I talked directly with the manager of the department.....its a done deal....THAT is the hot poop on this topic.

nor does Mazda endorses such brand or intake... the dealer that sells it is ON THEIR OWN
