Is this possible-Engine swap?

Since people have been talkin about engine swaps, thanks for the GT-R idea Blue LEDz, would it be possible to put the 1.6L Miata (BPT i think) engine in and mod the hell out of it???

good point-put the 180hp BPT, then the baseline is 180 and turbo-ing from that can yeild close to 300hp

The only thing you need to worry about with putting in a GTR swap into your car is either finding a FWD tranny that will work, or getting the RWD setup to work. I guess since the GTR is AWD, you can disconnect the drive shaft, but it may not be as easy as you may think.

what i want to know, is how much would a swap like what corksport did cost? just use the BPT with 180 hp instead of the GT-R for a budget swap. if it's comprable in price to a turbo upgrade, why not just swap it out? corksport did not use a 3rd gen pro tranny (i think), and used different axles, so you won't have the weak transmission and axles of the 3rd gens. any thoughts? maybe something new from BLT! yeah, i wish.
I think Aspec in Canada is working on a turbo'd or TT KL-ZE.... YUMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd want a 13B or 20B swap with rear drive conversion. I think it will cost to much though .....
