Yes, the Haltech E6X sold on protegegarage.com comes with a P&P harness however there are auxillary sensors that have to be run into the engine bay. I will actually have mine on saturday (although I'll be out of town for a week) but I will post plenty of pictures though to show you exactly what you get.

So Roddimus, you went with the E6X instead of the AEM unit? Is that the ECU you're going to reccomend with the WOMP kit now? I'm interested in getting the EMS before I put the WOMP kit in, and I don't know that much about tuning, so I'd like to have a source for maps and advice. I was orignally going to save up for the AEM unit, but if you're going with the E6X, then I'll probably swing that way too.

no no no...The Ecu I bought and will be using in the WOMP kit is a HAltech F10X. It is a FUEL ONLY computer. Pro-Slug asked about a complete Stand-alone and the E6X is that. It'll look identical to my F10X and have the same harness and sensors. The only difference is the E6X will controll much more than the F10X.

If you are looking to buy your own standalone plan on spending $1500-ish. Until I actually get into my Haltech I won't know for sure but I have used the AEM, driven it, tuned it...seen it in action and the AEM is amazing. The automapping feature is exceptionally helpful also. I don't believe the Haltech has that.

So it comes with a protege specific harness meaning no splicing of any wires is required right? I want something that is easily reversible incase i want to revert back to stock due to emmission testing or selling the car.

there is some wire splicing when you have to connect the Haltech sensors to your wiring harness. You'll also have to splice a 12V power, ground and fuel pump relay. It's not 100% P&P but it's supposedly easy enough.

no problem. I won't be here for a week when my haltech arrives but Pro5 will be. Maybe he'll come over to my house and get some pics of it for you guys.
