OBX Headers

Anyone care to throw in a few comments about these headers? They good quality or should I be looking elsewhere?

Searching around I'm hearing about a lot of cracks and leaks. Don't like the sound of that .. can anyone confirm or disprove those claims?

Looks like I might be hitting up Gary after all The Thunder header looks amazing but it's a bit out of budget right now.

Stiff motor mounts will improve header longevity.

a couple of months - still looks new, except for a little heat discoloration - we'll see how it looks after the new york winter takes its toll on it

I just wanna make sure that whatever I buy is gonna be good quality .. I don't want exhaust leaks after the first year.

I have bought and sold the OBX headers and installed about 10 on local cars. So far not one bad unit, no cracks, no issues at all.

That being said I'd spend a few extra dollars and support our local vendors. Gary's stuff is probably much better quality and certainly looks better.

^ +1 million for Gary support but Thunder costs twice as much as OBX. $150 vs $300 isn't something my pocket can agree to at this time. Maybe later .. we'll see. Hopefully I can maybe find one used too, cuz Thunder would definitely be my first pick as well.

I have a obx 4 into 1 header and it works great, at top-end it rips!
