new exhaust and intake adjustments

I just installed a new cold air intake and ractive exhaust on my 2003 p5, do I need to readjust anything in the engine such as fuel injectors etc?

do you get more air when you adjust the idle screw??
Cause when i turn it up (loosen it) it sounds like its suckin more air in. I can hear a louder hiss the more i turn it up.
