As a matter of fact I just spoke with a local high performance exhaust guy today. They don't recommend anything larger than 2.25 for normally aspirated and don't think you need to go much larger than 2.5 on a turbo car until the power levels are over 300 HP at the crank. These guys have been custom building systems for 35 years and do everything from grocery getters to custom systems for drag cars. Mucho experience with power adders also. They've got a 22R powered Toyota pickup waiting some last intercooler pieces right now on their lot. Custom off road 22r with a large turbo, ceramic coated mandrel bent header and they are doing all the intercooler and exhaust fabrication.

They are going to build me a 2.25" cat back system with a stainless muffler for about $200.

As for the J-spec cams, there are people that will argue that you want to have small cams for a turbo. Well, the J-spec's are only about 8-10 degrees longer duration and still run smooth with the stock ECU so they are plenty short enough for a turbo. The lift is almost identical to the stock lift on the intake cam, and the exhaust cam I haven't gotten specs for, but will measure when it arrives. I'd personally use them with a turbo as they are still short overlap and should be fine.

and then concentrate on getting a header if you plan to stay NA.

Ok I was looking at the manafold the other day and noticed all of the things everyone is talking about the large cat and the two O2 censors what would I have to do to put headers on her? What would I do about the O2 censors?
