My new intake sounds awesome

I was out shopping with my mom today and came across some tubing at Lowes, so I decided to try out a homemade CAI. I bought 2 3"clamps and a $10 Purolater air filter and 30 minutes later this is what I was left with.

I'm going to wrap the tubing later, I've just gotta find what I'd like to wrap it in, any suggestions?

Questions are welcome

Later.

It was about 11:30 at night, didn't want to wake the parents or the neighbors.

the only ting I may see wrong with that intake is the tubing used is ribbed? This will cause alot more friction as the air travels through the intake than say a smooth steel or aluminum tube.

since it has a large diameter though this may not be a problem.

Looks good for the cost either way and if you like the performance and sound you get from it thats all that matters(well as long as its safe =))

intresting......
so I am guessing you are not having any problems with the set up. What type of tubing did you use?
