My new intake sounds awesome
I was out shopping with my mom today and came across some tubing at Lowes, so I decided to try out a homemade CAI. I bought 2 3"clamps and a $10 Purolater air filter and 30 minutes later this is what I was left with.

the only ting I may see wrong with that intake is the tubing used is ribbed? This will cause alot more friction as the air travels through the intake than say a smooth steel or aluminum tube.
since it has a large diameter though this may not be a problem. Looks good for the cost either way and if you like the performance and sound you get from it thats all that matters(well as long as its safe =)) |
intresting......
so I am guessing you are not having any problems with the set up. What type of tubing did you use?:) |
