Is there any difference between the 2001 Mazda Mp3 Intake and Exhaust Cam's versus a 2002 Mazda Protege5 Cam's. My buddy just installed some new one's and gave me his.

When replacing cam's what other mods did you do? any one port and polish?

 

The block is the same but some things in the bay have minor modifications (the Intake manifold is designed for better airflow or something i think) and the ECU is different. I am not positive, but I was told by the dealership that is how MP3's make 10 more hp.
