MHP carbon fiber intake question

Does anybody here have this intake on an automatic p5? Will this intake fit or no? The intake was originally installed on the mp3. I'm not quite sure but is everything placed exactly the same on the mp3 as the protege 5? If someone can confirm this for me, it would be great. I hear there was a lot of fitment issues with this intake, and I don't want it to rub against anything on the p5. thanks in advance.

If it fit an MP3 mtx, it will fit a P5 mtx. I don't think any MP3's had automatic transaxles, so not sure if it will work on a auto P5. that would be the variable in question. But any intake that will fit a 2.0L 3rd gen will fit any trim model as long as the gearboxes are the same except the MSP...

Is the intake a short ram? If so I dont' think the transaxle will affect fitment in the first place...

Should fit no problem, it has a similar fitment to the Injen CAI and that fits the 3rd gen autos. There shouldn't be any fitment issues.

I used to have one. Madhouse Productions here in Denton, Texas was producing the C/F Intakes. They are now having a hard time sourcing the C/F to make the C/F Intakes, so they are hard to find. I already sold mine to Gujustud in Canada.
