metal grinding sound on reverse in winter time? anyone?

Did anybody experience this?

Whenever my car's parked for a long period of time (overnight etc.., I guess when the car's cold?)
and if I did reverse right or left, there's that metal grinding sound.
I couldn't even tell where the sound was from.

I remember going to the dealer about this and a guy there told me his mazda (can't remember which model) has the same sound in the morning.....
The sound wasn't consistent so I couldn't even get it checked out...

But it only happened in winter time tho and it's disappeared now.

OH btw, I read the thread about the dash, I had that sound as well for a while till I knocked on it....
and now my seatbelt has a rattling sound everytime I brake hard.

any thoughts?

==================================
Still love my pro 5 tho 2002model bought in last sept.
