Didn't really read it, but looks sort of like a y-pipe piece to me. It won't get you any power, and it is NOT worth $53. If you are interested in the dual exhaust look, have a custom shop make one.
My 2 cents for ya

This thing has nothing to do with dual exhaust. It is a sort of exhaust by-pass. When it is closed the gasses go through the exhaust system like normal, but when you open it, you completely "cut out" everything in the system behind it.
If you want to try it out, unbolt your catback(stock or aftermarket) and start the car. It will be obnoxiously loud and will most likely loose you some power. If that is what you want then it's worth the $50.
