Got my Mazda P5 exhaust.

About time I only ordered it in January. For 2 Bills it not bad it has a nice tip with Mazdaspeed engraved into it, very classy. It has nice welds and is polished nicely, although there was a bit of buffing compound in the nook and crannies, nothing a little elbow grease didn't take care of. However the muffler looks like the factory one just highly polished, but I don't know.

For god's sake man, post some friggin pics! Can you post a link to this exhaust online? Also, is it just the muffler or is it cat back? Compared to the Bosal?

Thanks!

In the description from mazdastuuf it says it gives you a nice deep sound but does it provide any extra hp.

The MazdaSpeed sport exhaust is only the rear section for the exhaust system correct?

Alright Alright

Alright I'll answer all your damn qusestions. First of all the P5 has a Pre-silencer and a full on muffler, which is not a striaght through setup and has vey restrictive non-mandrel bends, but it is very light. The Sport exhaust is a striaght through design with mandrel bends and but is heavier. And yes it has an awsome sound, very deep and very throaty. The fit is great it bolts right up with no problems and accents the cut-out in the bumper perfectly, doesn't stick out to far isn't in to far and follow the contour of the cut-out perfectly.

Did i forget anyone ?

performance?

I know you probably don't get any added performance out of the new muffler, but I'll ask anyway. Does the car feel any faster? Does it have even slightly better acceleration?

Also, can that nice deep throaty rumble be heard constanly at freeway speeds, or just when you punch it?

This looks like an option for me, but I don't want a constant irritating drone if I'm on a long trip, and a little extra power would be just the rationale I need to make the purchase.

Pictures

I don't have pictures yet, but will be taking some as soon as I get my car lowered. They do look really sweet though. In my opinion they are the best wheels for the car- especially considering that most of the other wheels, even some that are way more expensive, weigh 5 to 10 pounds more. Did I mention they look great? I'll post pics in a few weeks.

Ok, so what are we talking about here? Is this just the muffler, or axle back, or cat back?
