Intake question

Has anyone tried to put the Injen CAI for 01-02 2.0L onto the 99-00 1.8L? I have read through alot of threads and they say that these two engines are parctically the same, except for a few internal differences....so, in theory, it should fit right?? I have asked around and the advice I was given was to just go with the short ram intake, that was built for the 1.8, because there wasn't any noticable sound/hp difference. Just trying to get more opinions before I make the purchase. Thanks

Use the search function. The difference is clearance of the brake master cylinder. Details are available in other threads.
