Intake

is there a CAI system that will not void the warranty on my 02 P5? Would one of you mind letting me know which kit that might be and how to get my hands on one?

thanks much

There isn't anything like that as far as I know for Mazdas. I know BMWs can take Dinan stuff usually, but for us i don't think there are intakes like that. Some dealers are more lenient than others though.

Just make sure you hold on to all of your stock plastic intake pieces for when you take the car to the dealership

MAN, I thought there would be more intakes out there that woudlnt viod warranty. I was told, but I dont remember all the specifics, when i purchased the car that i could get a certain intake and it wouldnt void the warranty... i might have to go back to the dealer to see what they say.

I am looking for a Cold-Air. I have narrowed my search down to AEM or Injen... I've done some research on both and both seem pretty good. I am leaning towards the AEM. In your opinions, what do you think of the two brands?

I thought it was a WOman

generally most people go with the injen or AEM.... they both offer about the same hp increase....

but yeah remember to hold onto your stock intake, cuz if you ever want to go back to the dealer... then you will want to switch your stock pieces back in

You can put any intake on your car and it wont void you warranty. If the intake itself causes damage however the dealer wont warranty the repair

Exactly, an aftermarkat part will not void your warranty unless it is responsible for a problem.
