Injen CAI or AEM Short-Ram

Hi everyone,

I can get the Injen CAI for $425 CAD or the AEM Short-Ram for $350 CAD

Which would you guys prefer, and why?

Is it worth the extra $$$ for the Injen?

Thanks!

Personally I would go with the AEM short RAM. Its what I got on my Yellow P5. AEM really knows intakes, and on their website, plus I spoke to a representitive from AEM about this. They made both this short RAM and a CAI, they dyno'd both setups and found no performance gains from the short RAM to the CAI. So why spend the money just to say you have a cold air intake, rather than save seom money, get a well known manufacturer, and have the same performance gain?

It's personal preference. Neither intake will make much additional HP.

Thanks for your help. I guess both intakes would also give the same sound? Is one louder than the other?

Thanks again!

I don't have any personal experience with the Injen intake, but I can't really hear them over my exhaust anyway.

Also find a shop that carries MonsterFlow short pipe. Some of the guys from Calgary (they have a small thread started on here) have it and like, plus you can probably get it for around $250 CAD at a local shop.

Dale.
