HELP!!!! Manual tranny oil... which one???

HEY Im going crazy here. I purchased 2 quarts of Pennzoil Synchromesh gear oil and a quart of Lucas Oil Stabilizer to be mixed with this in my P5 Manual 2.0L. Now this has been recommended by a member on the forum and he's had it for almost 3 years.

I called Pennzoil, and they said the synchromesh is not designed for mazda's and that it could damage the tranny. Are they just protecting their asses? or could it really damage anything? Guy on the phone said the Synchromesh is a 5W-30 our manuals say the tranny needs 75W-90?? would it make a huge difference? anyone who has used the synchromesh ,lemme know how it drives with it in and any damage from it? lol thanks in advance
