i can't believe no'one has pointed the obvious here......the picture he's showing is an INTERCOOLER, not an intake. If you want one of those feaux-intercooler intakes you could buy one for a honda and just modify it to fit.

Dork.... he's talking about the little duct or scoop just under the front edge of the hood, not the intercooler.

hahaha, I've seen so many people think that the stupid intake thing is an intercooler I thought we had it backwards here as well.

Either way, there is no way in hell that little notch is going to bring enough good cold air to make a power difference in the car.

i have something in the works...still in rnd...don't have time to work on it...when i find time, i'll let you guys know.

on a side note...DGMotorsports makes a true ram-air hood...the hood and intake are around 1K...it is carbon fiber, so i guess it's worth it.

Every dyno test sheet I've seen from a CAI has shown a boost in bottom end, even if it was only slight...

I thought manufacturers designed in the resonators on OEM intakes to eliminate the intake noise you hear with SRIs and CAIs...??

i.e: the injen CAI for the Mazda 6, 2.3L
