buying friday

Ok here it is, I am buying the safc II this friday and it should be here no later than early to mid next week. So Matty my question is will you be able to let me come down and we can install and run tests next weekend or at least get it hooked up? I should be able to stay the whole weekend Fri through Sun. So can I stay at your house? Please please please! That way if we need to let the car sit or do some late night work it will be ok. And I promise this time there is nothing my cousins can do to make me stay with them. And this time when you make the magarita put a little more alcohol in it, you know I do my best work when I am tipsy.

We haven't gotten it pre-dyno'd or installed yet. With our big meet this weekend it will have to be next weekend at the earliest. Price is yet to be determined.

There's a possibility that it doesn't make any power or doesn't make enough for it to be worth the cost. In that case I'm not going to put my name on it.

Karen, it's not plug and play but it's but the protege pack is only 3 wires. The S-AFCII is a few wires though...just like any piggyback.

typical female,....making my life harder when you're supposed to be subserviant.

p.s. You're on my bad list for not making it out to the meet tomorrow. Gotta think of an appropriate punishment for ya.

I feel punished enough already

However, if I manage to somehow make it out of here sometime this year, I will definitely plan a weekend visit to my southern boys & girls. I applied to NOLA too...just for fun.

5.5 V

How are you guys doing this installation? We're seeing 5.5V and the SAFC2 can't take more than 5.0V. I've spent a lot of money trying to get one installed and it won't work. If you can send me a wiring map to an installation you already have on a car that actually works, I'd love to see it.

Thanks...

I have never completed this project...it's not worth the time/effort IMO.

If you're TPS is seeing 5.5V you may have a faulty unit...i'll check the manual and make sure I'm right about that oem voltage.
