fs-ze vs fsde

fs-ze
Hey i think out of the mods i put in my fs-de the fs-ze intake cam has made the best gain. I ran the car with the fs-ze intake cam before i installed the mms exhaust cam and it ran great then i installed the exhaust cam it only made a small difference. as for the fs-ze manifold it should be compatible with my VICS system but i wouldnt bother untill i get the proper j-spec ecu. I have to agree with eric that the mms header and fs-ze ECU will definately make the biggest gain especially if you have the cams like i do. They should work great do to the fact i already have an intake and no cats on my car. When and if i ever get the fs-ze ecu i will get the stiffer springs and higher flowing manifold. I,m getting my head ported and polished this weekend when i get my 10.5.1 pistons installed. Ill let you boys know how it runs with the stock P5 ecu. I,m going to email corksport and tell them to get moving on those J-spec ecus. My engine is going to need a new brain pretty soon it would be a waste of time and money with all the mods i,m doing if it cant run to its fullest . peace out boosted

j-spec ecu
Hey i read in some post that the fs-ze ecu has a different wiring configuration than US 2.0 and that the wiring harness might have to be changed. Also if you use the fs-ze ecu that you would have to hack up the US wiring harness pretty bad to get it to work. If this is true that suks i,m not good with wires but i can build a mean *** motor. Is there any way to burn a US ecu to a true j-spec ecu maybe even turn the revs up a little to like 9000 rpm that would be so sweet . Then ill be zoom zoomin rite by them v-tecs
