FSDE Intake manifold?

Hey guy's... have a question about this manifold. I am Currently using the Factory manifold on my Probe 2.0. I have acid ported it, and I am Using Custom Crower cam regrinds that I had done. Specs on tha cams are: BOTH:: .333 Lift & 204 Duration @.050 Lobe Lift. These have givien me awesome top end power. I am Swapping out the ported factory manifold on my FS02 and I have bought an FSDE manifold wich as you guys know uses the VICS system. I also have bought all the neccassary extras to make it work. I have the fuel Rail, injectors, and FPR along with the manifold. Now to make the VICS open, instead of using the ECu from a FSDE.... I am using an MSD RPM Activation Module... which will be hooked up to the selloniod to make the secondaries open. Now my question is.. I don't know where the Secondaries are supposed to open normally... But I want to plug a 4500Rpm "Pill" into the MSD to open the secondaries at 4500Rpm. I think it will be good here because thats where my cams start to make all their power... and it pulls Hard till 6500. Any good advice on what RPM to activat the VICS system would be very helpful.

Thanks alot guy's.

Joe

it's best to remove the VICS system entirely. Removing the butterflies removes an onbstruction in the intake path and causes a slight gain.

You'll find that us protege guys remove the VICS and usually get a couple hp gain.

Wouldn't that be too much flow at lower Revs though? Not good throttle response? I already have a loss in low end with my cams and ported FS02 manifold..... You think this FSDE manifold will be better than my ported FS02 manifold? In the higher revs i mean.

I will think about removing the VICS... but i dunno yet.. need more advice
