FS-ZE Engine swap

How would I go about swapping an FS-ZE into my 2002 Protege ES. I searched through the forum, and it seems like I could just switch the engines without replacing any other parts. Is this true? And also, will the engine work okie with an automatic? I wouldn't have to replace the ECU would I? Or am I wasting time here considering an engine swap, would it be cheaper to go for a turbo or sumthing instead? Or should I just shut up and save up for a better car?

If you are doing mods that major and if you are just after a fast car, I'd save up for a new car in the future. I really like my Pro, but because it is so slow stock I don't plan to do much to it besides intake and exhaust, and maybe go high compression.
