There are several exhausts available:

The Mazda ones from the dealership (axle backs)
Racing Beat
Bosal
HKS
Your own custom exhaust from a muffler shop
The ones I've forgotten about

Varying costs and varying noise levels.

Racing Beat has announced a 3-piece system for the P=5, I have one on order for shipment in early August.

What happened when you tried Racing Beat? I ordered one from them last week and it's supposed to ship in a little bit. There was no problem involved or anything. I don't think there's anyone else selling Racing Beat exhuasts as far as I know. I've been shopping around for exhausts for the past several weeks before I decided on Racing Beat.

You said not to say this but..."Go to Racing Beat" lol, just kidding, but honestly I think that's the only place you can order one.

Up at the top of this page is the link for the Advanced Imports web site - they're an authorized Racing Beat distributor. And here's a direct link to the page:P5 Racing Beat exhaust

Enjoy!

Just shows you how ill informed I am, lol.

Question though if Racing Beat is telling people they're cranking them out as fast as they can, wouldn't Advanced Imports simply be a middle man to order one for you and then ship it?? How's that work?

But they are sell them about $15 cheaper than RB

Whoever gets one needs to record a sound clip. I don't want something deafening just something with a nice rumble at idle that gets a little noisy at 4k and screams at 5k to redline. I can't have the full noisy experience. For some reason women don't like that.

Mine's on order. I'll try to record something whenever I get it and install it. I believe Rishie has a Racing Beat on one of his cars. He's posted on this board somwhere as saying this exhaust is very quiet. Do a search or contact Rishie He's "ARD MP5"

One thing in NJ

They are cracking down on the muffler sounds.
They are putting up sound meters on cars now....
I would love to here what is sounds like.
Racing Beat system is it a RR system ,or do you have to get custom brakest made so on so forth?
Who has it on MP5?

The Racing Beat is supposed to be a bolt on system. No new brackets or anything required. When I get mine I'll post pics, but there are some pictures around on the board already if you search.

Or you can look at the Racing Beat website OR the Advanced Imports website with the link right at the top of this page. You can see the whole system on those sites.
