yeah. another bend and it would....I was most impressed with the fact that the pipes were ALL above the fan line so they no longer got warm after driving.

I also removed that small foam weatherstripping from the back of the engine bay to allow more heat to leave the underhood area.

i dunno....my car doesn't accumulate crap there. I'm sure it would beneficial to some. Just not me. Also, if you just hose out your engine bay every now and then theres no foul.

I'm all for removing any heat from my engine bay.

How did you have your filter oriented before??? even with the reservoir in its original place.. mine still went the same way you have it.

wow...mine was poiting down in front of the fan. I tried turning it up with the resivoir in it's original place and it was not even close...

Also, you have a K&N intake listed in your sig,,,I have the Ebay intake...big difference.

I HAD the ebay SRI. that's why I said "went" ... as in past tense... I upgraded to the Typhoon a couple weeks ago. And mine pointed outward with the reservoir in the original place. <shrugs> yours might help deflect heat from it anyway... so that's probably not a bad idea....
