I'm thinking of adding a performance exhaust system but I have an automatic tranny. Would it matter if I added one to my ride or does the modification only work on a 5-speed tranny, would someone reply A.S.A.P

The exhaust system has nothing to do with the transmission. So it's perfectly fine to get a cat back system for an auto car.

I have an auto tranny and had a custom cat-back system installed on my car. There is a slight drop in low end performance, but mid and high end were noticeably improved. It's a small sacrifice and is typical of how most exhaust systems are for 4cyl imports.
