Question Can this be done?

My wife's P5 needs the waterpump replaced. Can this be done without taking the timing belt off (I have already replaced the belt and put on an all new cam cover gasket )

no, the belt is OUTSIDE the pump. That's why I went ahead and bought cams when I knew I needed a new pump....way too much work for just one job!

Thumbs up

Yea, I just realized that. I didn't pay attention to it when I installed the cam in my P5. I was just focused on that.
