CAI's for the 2k2 Pro

Since I'm not really familiar with performance upgrades and all that, I wanna know if getting a CAI will be better, like that much better or you shouldn't really get one. I heard like mileage is increased per gallon or something like that. Is it THAT much better then that stock closed box?

Also, I think Injen makes a CAI and maybe AEM, if I decide on buying a CAI, which one is better? , or are there others that make a CAI? Thanks. as u can see i don't know much about this.

As far as mpg gallons go here the thing I noticed. After installing the intake, the engine sounds much better. So I tend to drive harder just to hear it. Naturally i have crappy gas mileage because of it.

I think price and looks is going to the only difference between those 2.

Injen makes the only CAI; AEM makes a short ram-style intake. Mileage is slightly better, but as Mxyzptlk said I usually drive harder just to hear the sound. You won't notice a big difference in speed and power, but the car will rev more freely. If I were you, I'd get the Injen.

The Injen is a great intake, but becareful if it floods where you live! water and intake dont mix Im thnking about putting on the AEM intake, because it floods pretty easy where I live. I already had one bad experience with that. I almost killed my engine!
