Just found conversion rate - 72.7 cents on the dollar. So that puts the header at $426.20

I remember someone posting about that header awhile ago here or on protege5.com. Haven't heard anything about it though.

Ive had lots of work done by Essential Speed and have had great success with their products. I'm running there stage 2 turbo kit right now and no problems at all. The header looks really good. I saw one in person.

Old news?

I had thought I had read about this header a while back and I actually found the old thread. In June, it sounded like there were complications with this design. Any news on what the problems were and if the header they are selling actually performs well? Dyno results would be nice to look at since im concidering the 4-2-1 header option. Here is the link to the other thread. http://www.protegeclub.com/forum/sho...ghlight=header

I don't think they will be able to get much power with the pre cat in the way. I would like to see some dyno's #'s though.

Interesting, but the stock cat is one of the reasons that we lose so much power to begin with.... for the money I'll give pretty good odds that the woodford racing header will do tons better

I believe the reason for keeping the cat in there is to keep with emmisions in various places. I know up here it is illegal to remove a cat and I assume in many other places too. Almost all other header options will be for off road use only. Now whether you care or not is different

I won't disagree with that- but since I won't have to go to emissions for a couple of years- why not just switch back when I am required to? All in search of hp i guess....
