Will the dealer void your warranty because of an intake mod?

of the two intakes aem and injen.. the injen is the most expensive.. something like 350 $cdn... maybe be a little less... and the aem is like 300 $cdn... i say just pick up a ractive instead.. pretty much like an aem.... then go and buy a pipe to add to the end.. and make your own cai.. the ractive sell for like 130 $cdn..

Aem Intake

Does anyone know what the two plastic ties that come with the aem intake are supposed to be used for...

Thanks
Eric...

i wouldn't buy the AEM b/c to me it looks like it drops the filter down right in front of the radiator fans whichs blow nothing but HOT air. But i have never seen it in person so it might not but the pipe is definatly in front of those fans.

AEM in 2003 p5

I just installed the top version. Its and AEM cold air intake and it fits perfect no problem pulling in hot air form radiator. I have a 2003 p5 manual trans. The shop I bought it from gave me the two options. The cost for the top version is about 240.00 US.
