3 inch exhuast

hey everybody, just wondering if anybody has run 3 inch exhuast on their p5 or if there is enough room for it. I'm not going for the ricer thing or anything, but im about to be running 15 to 18 psi of boost and thought i could get some killer gains from it. i know my friends eclipse opened up a good bit when he 3 inched from his turbo back.

you will need a true TURBOBACK 3" exhaust to see real gains but Yes it'll make a big difference. What size turbo? What EMS? Forged Internals?

I recommend 3" cat back or better yet turbo back to anyone running a turbo on their Mazda. And yes a reputable exhaust shop should be able to make 3" fit

car is still being built, but I'm very stoked about it. the fuel management is stand alone, i know this is bad but for the love of me i cant remember whch brand. three letters starts with P. shop highly recmmended it over the greddy that i was opting for. i took your advice and hit up wagner motorsports and got the pauter rod and wiseco 8:1 pistons. The shop said the were awesome rods. installing a t3/t4 hybrid with balling bears and custom trim, balanced crank, port and polished head, 3 angle valve job, custom downpipe, stage 3 clutch, added two 720 cc injectors to the existing ones and a turbonetics evolution external wastegate.going for big power. everybody down here in the hampton roads, va area has little hondas and acuras so i'm trying to go the creative route. definitely gonna need a limited slip in near future. cant wait to get it back. i'll post some pics when i get it and hopefully some dyno runs and 1/4 miles too. Thats why ive been trying to find a better tranny.
