No dont get the ractive. it wont work. i got one from procarparts on ebay for 12 bucks. check it out they will fit front and back if you do it right.. I have a 98 and i think the back is the same as yours. What i had to do though, is take the strut bar which is slightly curved and flatten it so it would be long enough to stretch the gap between the struts. then i had to cut out a small area on the side wall which encloses the top of the sturt mount. i then measured the bolt battern on top. then drilled holes in the sturt bar mount. do that on both sides and put the bar in... i know this is a bit hard to understand but i can take some pics so that you can see better.
but there are a few things i did wrong which i can point out to you later........that way you can get it done right
for example flattening the bar wasnt a good idea... but if you get a bar for another car that is long enough then use the mounts from the procarparts bar you would have less problems..... the only problem is cuttin the sidewall but if done correctly it wont cause any problems and isnt even noticable.......... this will all become clear when i get picks....just email me rogueangel@***.net

Well, I would have to pretty much done the same thing about cutting holes, I just did not have the time, nor the tools, so I sold my rear strut to freind of mine who drives MX-3, and it was a direct fit. Do you have any pics of the install though, that would be nice.
P.S. Sorry about getting off topic.

I want people to grab a coat hanger and try this expeiment with me:
1-take your coat hanger and unravell it untill it is just a straight (sort of) wire
2-bend it and half and what 1 min
3-straighten it out and wait 1 min again
4-repeat steps 2 and 3 ten times each
5-*snap*
WTF? Congradulations! You just demonstraighted what repeadiatly adjusting your coilovers will do to your suspension over time! So I ask you the question that has been asked a couple of times already..."Springs, or coilovers???"
When you go to raise your car back up for the winter, because of your springs being compressed for 8 months (which they werent intended for) they will be partially permantly stuck compressed and will not de-compress back up to the stock ride height.
Also, even though the price is right, dont buy Intrax! They will be as soft as hell in about a year!

just to let u know, when ur lowering a car with coilovers ur not compressing the spring...
ur just turning a threaded sleve
the spring doesent compress itself and expand itself when its raised or lowered
