Actually the Auto Crafts shop I mentioned does not come out of tax dollars. It part of what the military calls MWR Morale Welfare and Recreation Funds which are derived from a percentage of the profits made from retail concessions on U.S. military base. Such as Burger King, Kentucky Fried Chicken, the base exchange (retail outlet like a super Wal-mart). It’s actually illegal to use taxpayer dollars in any way other than for defense authorized by congress. So most of the perks of the military are from with in, never out of taxpayer’s pockets. FYI I’m about to post in the Engine and interior section pictures of my solid polyurethane motor mount install which by the way only cost $15.00 a mount and my new 6.5" LCD in-dash screen with play station and DVD. Just click the link in my sig. and the pics are in the photo album.
Enjoy

I'm still jealous. The poly motor mounts look good. I might have to try that. You just did the two mounts that control engine rotation right?

I only did the front mount and filled the side mounts with silicone rubber. I'll probably do the rear along with the sway bar when I can get to a left so the cars up in the air to make thing easier. The front mount exchange is super easy. Used a jack under the bell housing to support the engine, three bolts and the mounts out probably took like 30 minutes at the most to do the job.
I have two of the polyurethane mounts left if somebody wants them I let them go for what I paid for them $29.00 for the set plus shipping.
FYI when I'm at idle like at a stop light there is a little bit of noticeable vibration from the solid front mount. If you replace the rear I'm sure the vibration in the driver compartment would be pretty profound if you’re worried about that. The benefits though are the most notable out of all the mods I've done except the Mazdaspeed struts and H&R springs. The launch, shifting response, and instant power with decreased wheel hop all from just a simple poly mount it's incredible. In fact I use to have a problem when I was a little under geared going up a hill or something in like fifth the motor would spin up and the car would jump and lung when the it released the troque, not now totally gone. I think I remember seeing a service notice about this problem from Mazda. When I remove the front motor mount the OEM rubber busing inside was way past it's time, totally shot.
