Question Some generalized help and info on 2nd gen

Hey all, im new here but i hav a 1995 mazda protege 1.8l automatic es. I really like this car but would like to do upgrades to the styling and performance so i have a few questions.

1. I've heard some civic kits will fit on my car, what kits will fit my car, I like the erubuni kit but my wife doesnt like the way it looks. I would like to put a whole kit on it but havent found one yet

2. What kind of performance upgrades are there for my engine and where can i find them. I've read that the older bp? turbo will fit but then ive read that it won't.

Any information or insight will help

The older BPT will fit, but ask Patrick (Pinoy something or other) how much of a pain in the *** it was. Better to just turbo the one you got .

www.topmix.com.hk has a kit for our car. BC Auto Design in Toronto, ON can get top mix.
www.pakfeifertuning.com has a kit and a hood. pakfeifercanada.com is the canadian dist (i dont know the US one)
www.corksport.com carries MANY performance and styling parts including rare japan-only bumpers
www.essentialspeed.com has a cold-air intake ($300 CDN)

The BPT WILL fit, but is a PITA! Eseentialspeed is looking for a car to use so it can produce a turbo kit for our car...send them an email if your interested...info@essentialspeed.com

I'd definitely be in for a turbo kit on my car but I'd need an engine rebuild among other things and a car to drive while they've got mine, etc........ What do I get out of it??

Heh, I doubt seroiusly the civic kits will fit on da protege without major work done. ANY front kit would fit on the protege if you had the money to have it custom fabricated. So if you got money and want to make your car stand out, by all means do it!
