Hey, Nick, just currious what you did with your air temp sensor? I just finished my short-ram intake, but my air temp sensor is just hanging in the engine bay.

I took the same kind of wire. same size and material and extended the wire... then drilled a hole in the intake tube and glued it in... you can see it, i think, in the cold air in bumper pic.

Ok,I see what you did. But the sensor sends info back to the computer based on the wire resistance, and if you extend the wire, you might have engine light on, or some other problmes, and that is why I have not messed with mine yet. But if you don't have any problems, thats cool. Later.

did the cold air intake make a noticeable difference even with the stock intake pipe.

Well, yea, it let more air in than the stock setup. Obviously because if you look at the stock intake system youll notice it is sucking nearly in a vaccum. The end of the line is cold but has no opening in it at all. Take yours out. have a look. it will amaze you that the inlet is flat against the sidewall in the fender well. Granted with the stock piece its not as smooth flowing as a mandrel bent pipe( which im about to get) but its still more horses....also i made a scoop under my car on the intake side. so when im going about 60 down the road, cold air is being pushed into the intake. my highway speeds are much more stable and stronger now.
