I am pissed off with the pre cat . Engine light came on, pre cat un the treshold limit. I want to take that POS out . The weird manifold has this 6 screws (bizzare) design. I wonder if a aluminum pipe would fit in there and if a regular exhaust shop weld could hold the pipe in the manifold. 270 bucks for a pre cat is stupid. Any ideas here? also, regarding ECU, I could install this MIL to give the sensor the right reading. Business here is wether a pipe would stay in place just being welded in the manifold.
