i installed a civic intake that i modded to fit fine into my 96 1.5L and now it seems to idle a bit low and causes some shaking...its rather annoying and im curious if anyone else had this problem??? or how can i adjust the idle from the engine itself?? is there a sensor i can adjust to make it idle higher like on some cars??? thanx for help in advance...

Check to make sure that the throttle cable moves freely and that the intake isn't rubbing on anything. You may also look and make sure that you didn't disconnect anything while you were installing the intake.

all you have to do is adjust the Idle, there is a shaft coming straight up from the throttle body with a screw in it, that's the idle adjustment screw..
