hello..i'm from indonesia
i have a 1997 protege and i just want to know.
can a protege like me use an external coil or let say like crane cams lx 91?
i hope you all can help me.

Yes you can use an external coil but its not easy. I think MSD sells a coil post that you can put in your distibutor . Honda and acura guys have done it ,I just used the stock coil with my crane hi-6 and ran the wires into the dist. and to the coil.
