test my tach??

how do i test my protege 94 lx tach to make sure it works??

its a protege tach and i have a escort ive hooked it to all the corect wire ( or i think i have) and it wont work

What wire did you hook it up to?

(I thought they were plug-ins)

there are three teminals on the back of the tach (once removed from the cluster )

i have it working now and belive i can create all the info for a good how to (protege lx cluster in escort ) itll just take me some time
