Unhappy sway bar mounts

has any one had a sway bar mount / bracket break ????


one of my rear sway bar brackets broke off .... leaving only one holding the sway bar on to the chassis

Yup! broke the passenger rear bracket once and broke the same side endlink bolt. The bolt may have tightened too much...

i bet your first clue was the scape, scrape around corners, or a loud PING when going slowly over speed bumps ad such and of course sloppy handling.....

i found out that bf 323 mounts are too weak as well .....
put one on as a tempoary fix ...... broke it within 2 km !!!!!!


went and got another proper one today

i have been looking for some decent mounting brackets, they got any for the BG? Polyurathane i hope

Hey Jesse, as i know your lurking, Mr 305 posts!!!!, do you know if Gary's sway bar has brackets w/poly bushings as well as poly endlinks?

as far as im aware you use the same bracket ... but change the bushing

But what about the brackets and bushings? the "U" ones that mount to the cross member. does it come with those as well?
