smokin, the blue kind :(

ok to all the oil burners, im joining the club

ok the thing is, is it hard/expensive to fix this problem?

what do i need ?

seals, gaskets, etc...

if someone who has done this or has good knowlegde of it make a list of what i need (parts wise) that would be greatly appricated.

thanks

sounds like your piston rings are shot. Basically you need to rebuild the motor. how many miles are on the motor?

i have a lil over 310 000kms

do i need just gaskets, rings and stuff or do i need things like springs pistons camshafts?

mind you im just looking to stop oil burning and not redo nething that isnt nessary (ristricted budget here)

Adding oil is cheaper and easier than a rebuild.

do a compression check, if any seem low, add a little oil through the plug hole and check it again. If it goes up the rings are bad.

My car smokes a little, but its just the valve guide seals. I don't feel like changing them until its time for a new timing belt, which is like 30K miles off.
