Safe to clean your engine compartment?
Hello gang,
So, I have a little problem...I can't stand dirt, or grease, or grime. This causes a problem for me every time I pop the hood on my Pro. What's the safest way to clean your engine compartment out? I really don't want to pull the whole engine out. Is it okay to go to the self wash and spray that green stuff all over and then pressure spray it off? Any other suggestions? I'll end up getting in there with the armor all and polishing rags if I can get the top layer of gunk off of everything.
Thanks!!

cover the alternator with a plastic bag. Cover everything electrical (relays) or anything with plastic bags you have a suspicion that's going to get ruined in water. gentally spray down everything. Dont forget to disconnect the battery first. Cover the distributer with a plastic bag.. keep a bottle of electronic drying chemical handy.
