Problem with speedometer

My speedometer stopped workin all of the sudden. any ideas?? evrything else works.

Did the odometer stop working also? Your cable is probably broken and will have to be replaced.

I recently had to buy the speedocable again, got the upper and lower part for $60 or something from the dealer.

As was previously stated, that should be your problem. All we needed to remove from the car was the battery to get to it. Just remember to get both parts, even if only 1 is bad, the part was revised so the top and bottom are needed.
