i know right? there have been tons of people asking for these, post and get involved, how often do we get an oppertunity like this, especially for some pods for our cars...

i know some of you are serious about going turbo and these would help you stick gauges everywhere and junk... show some support

 

I was wondering if you have a picture of the install, I am interested in picking one of these up as well. What color is the pod that you selected. If it is grey, how well does it match the factory colors?

I am the guy Wil was talking about that has the Auto meter single pod installed. You can see pictures of it on his site. I went to my local shop where my friend works. I pulled the car around back and just started picking pods that looked like they'd fit with little modification until I found that a Chevy/GM Full-size pickup 93+ fit almost perfectly. I didn't even take my A-pillar off. I got some 2 part epoxy and stole my wife’s hair drier. I heated the edges to fit, slapped some epoxy on it and used duct tape. I let it dry over night. BTW, I drilled a small hole in the A-pillar to feed the wires through. After that, I tucked them into the rubber molding and through the firewall. It was pretty simple. If you have any more questions feel free to ask. If you want the part model number I can dig that up for you too. They make those pods in dual or triple sizes as I was looking into that when I had plans for a BPT swap that fell through.

I just went to the www.gaugeworks.com site. I found a double pod GM/Chevy Pickups 88-94 but there was no single pod listed.
The 88-98 has 2 single pods listed but no double. Then they have the 95-98 Listed as the other double. It couldn't be that easy!

I have the Autometer Air/Fuel and Boost meter's in 2 1/16" going into a Canadian (No seatbelt rail) Protege GT. Which one would do you think is more suitable, the 15100(<94) or the 15103(95+). I am thinking that you probably have the 15101.

I really couldn't tell you which model it is and I really don't want to guess. However I am 95% sure that they did make 1 2 and 3 gauge pods for the model that I had. I thought that I had the information and boxes at my house but I must have left them at my parents. The next time I go there I will get all of the information and post it here. I'm in the works of making a pod for our cars. My computer crapping out on me has delayed me for about 3 weeks now Keep your pants on and it shouldn't be long before I have them ready. BTW the 15101 doesn't fit too well... I bought one and tried

 

So how long do you guesstimate? Also what do you think they will cost. The gaugeworks ones cost about $43 CDN.

But I would really like one that fits well and is possibly the same color (grey).

I'd guesstimate 2 weeks. $43.. Is that for a single? They will be in the same ballpark.... I can either sell them unfished or in black. They'll be made out of fiberglass BTW.

 

If it fits I'll be making one!
