Question Oil change question, need help please

Hi Guys,

Is it necessary to have the car on level ground to change oil or I can use ramps to raise the front of the car to change. You all know mazda does not have a lot of clearence in the front to change oil.

Also my car has 76000 miles on it. Shall I use synthetic oil ?.

Thanks and appreciate your help and suggestions.

i change the oil when its flat on the ground. Just turn your wheel all the way to the right. you should have enough clearence for your hands to get in there and open the bolt. I used to use synthetic untill I had a leaky valve cover gasket. now i'm back to normal oil to see if my new gasket will leak.

Raising the front of the car will actually help drain the oil out since the pdrain plug is on the back of the oil pan.

remember to also put the oil catcher back a little bit. The drain plug is horizontal and the oil will squirt out backwards at first

Don't put sugar in your oil.

You're welcome for my time and advice

Don't put lit M-80s in your gas tank either.
