New to forum... few questions

Hey guys,
I'm new to this website and the forum and wanted to introduce myself and ask a few questions. I own a 93 Protege DX and have made many mods to it... mostly looks and audio not much in engine... and I'm considering buying a 93 Protege LX because I want the DOHC engine that has more parts for it, and I want the power accesseries, including the sunroof. They were selling the car for $3250 and I got them down to $2900 cash. The car is in great condition with 87,000 miles on it. I test drove it yesterday and I immediately noticed that it felt a lot different than my car, and had more power. I did notice one thing that concerned me... when i let of the clutch and tried to gun it, i noticed that it didn't go anywhere and it took a few seconds to kick in! I asked the dealer about it and he said it could be the fuel injectors or the plugs and wires. I'm not so sure about that though. I am selling my car, which has 151,000 miles on it for $3200 if anyone is interested. It has nice rims, window tint, awesome audio system, sweet exhaust, insulated trunk and other rear parts for little to no vibration with subs, among many other things..... let me know if anyone is interested. Anyways... some questions I have about this LX includes: the air intake system... if the air flow meter is on the air box, can I get a air intake for it? If so, the only ones I have seen are on the NOPI website and I believe that it isn't a cold air intake.... are there any out there for my car? Also... I was wondering about turbo... I have seen some people on this site talking about getting it for their car. I haven't seen any kits availible, no sure where I can find one. Okay well this is all I'm going to put on this long message, I would like some advice from you guys on what I can do to make my car faster, or any thing else you may comment on. Thanks for your time.

that 93 LX sounds like a good deal; esp with the low mileage....

as far as the CAI, isn't the PRM a CAI??? 'mazda disciple' has a post showing pics of the PRM intake on his DOHC.

also, on the forced induction page, you'll find info on a turbo kit for the DOHC; its being put together by 'turboge'

hope the LX works out

If the engine is reving up when you gun it but your not going anywhere, its the clutch. If the motor just takes a while to respond than its something else like the dealer said.

Yeah I know it wasn't the clutch slipping, must have to do with plugs and wires. More than likely I will be buying the car tomorrow. About that turbo... where is the forced induction page? And the cold air intake you are talking about... the PRM, is that found at the corksport website? The only sites I have found for stuff for my car are NOPI and Corksport, are there any other sites I can look at? Well thanks for the advice guys. I'm looking forward to discussing things in the future. Also, Gro harlem... would u be interested in having my car pic on your site?
