Lowering the compression

I'm putting a turbo that can push up to 16psi in my 1991 323 1.6l 8 valve... I was wondering if putting 2 head gasket instead of 1 would be enough to lower the compression?? Any help would be good thanks

I doubt that using 2 headgaskets would work for long. You'd probably be better off having the pistons machined slightly, or opening up the combustion chamber. Another option might be to get a thicker headgasket, if you can find one.

Thanks for the feedback man. I have a new question now...
Would anyone know how much it costs to get the pistons machined or opening up the combustion chamber?

the compression ratio on that motor is low enough, don't waste your money.
Thats cool then, How much boost will I be able to put without blowing my engine?
