Intake Fabrication

Ok. I've got the cone filter and the adapter on my pro. I'm wanting to fabricate my own intake. I have a 2.5 in. 180 degree mandrel bent peice of tubing. I have hose clamps that i could clamp it together with. The problem is, I'm not sure how to cut the pipe so it will fit on a SOHC 1st gen. pro. I've looked at several possibilities, but im afraid to just start cutting away and ruin the pipe. Then i would have no intake and no pipe. Any help would be very much appreciated.

You can buy pipe cutters at any hardware store like Lowes, Home Depot, etc.. Not sure how much they cost though...

Use the original rubber piping as a guide like it shows here.
