Good news guys. I'm finally going to get the digital camera back to take the night shots tonight. I'll be taking them late tonight, and then my buddy will probably upload them tomorrow for me when he gets to work, about 9:00 my time. There's a chance they might be up tonight, but I'd say it's a small one. So the pictures should be up for viewing tomorrow morning.. hang in there....

wow dude, those look great, and charging 20 bucks to these 1st gen guys is just sweet. Gotta say you did a very good, professional job... what program did you use? id take a guess, but probably would be wrong.

Well guys, here's the moment of the truth. The night illumination pictures. As I mentioned in my very first post, they don't look perfect, but they are absolutely able to be seen. I think the semi-decent illumination is a great tradeoff for white face gauges that look great during the day. They may not be indiglow gauges, but they are a very cheap solution to a common problem we were all having. So hopefully you are all still interested. If you are, just post what you want on the gauges, or you can send me an E-mail at Glazedham42@aol.com When I get your order I'll e-mail you all of the specifics.... hope to hear from everyone....

im not a big fan of them at all.... i saw a better idea at cardomain.com.... some one painted the peace around the guages white then put in a small 4 inch neon tube in there so it lit up all the white.... sorry... i dont think those guages are worth my 20.00 no offence, i just do alot of night driving they dont look good at night... i would just spend the cash and time and try to paint the guages with paint myself...sorry

I tried painting them before I made the overlays, and take my word for it... it looks like total @#%. Besides, how are you going to mask off every single marker and number so that they don't get covered up when you paint? There is no way you could paint the numbers back on the gauges if they got covered up... I just don't see any conceiveable way to do it with paint, so I turned to my computer... I guess we'll see what you can come up with since you have so many good ideas.... Please share... necessity is the mother of invention..

Yeah, I'm going to play around with some different bulb colors I think and see if I can even improve the look a little more.
