I bought the car new, after the initial 5000KM on my car, I took her to the top, without any problems. It felt very stable at that speed, closing rates on other vehicles was a little disturbing.
With the recent updates, Im sure I could easily bounce off 140, maybe I should have went for the 626 fifth gear!

The fastest I've even managed in the LX is 110 so far, but haven't really had the 'opportunity' to keep at it. I've had the 323 at 115 before, that was probably one of the dumber things I've done

I hit 6800rpm in 5th gear and let off because I forgot I set the limiter so low, I thought I blew the motor lol..... could have gone another 1200rpm!! d'oh

That's just a hair over 140. It's not a very confident car at that speed.. Even 135 in my Spec V feels a bit hairy.

I was on my way to MS from Atlanta I was on 20 west and a lexus ls 400 ran up on me doing 100 I was running with the lexus at about 125 for about one hour and my rpms were only at 2 my car is a champion I think the only thing that slowed me down where all four of my windows being down (no AC) the guy in the lexus asked me what I had under the hood I simply said 4 cyclinders and a lead foot. I even had a 5.0 mustang run up me

OMG, what the hell did you just say?

You did 125 for an hour at 2rpm? 125 in a pro is 6200rpm.

Tops on my LX is 130. Up to 120 it's easy but then acceleration becomes extremely slow........a mile per minute

JUST THE OTHER DAY...AFTER A TUNE UP I TOOK MY PRO TO THE HIGHWAY TO TEST IT......I GOT UP TO 127 MPH....AND FLEW PAST A HIGHWAY CEMENT WALL AND I THOUGHT I SAW SMOKE COMING OUT OF MY EXAUST SO I SLOWED....BUT IT TURNED OUT TO BE SAND THAT I KICKED UP AS I FLEW PAST....

....BUT WHEN I SLOWED....MY CAR NOW FEELS LIKE IT IS NOT GETTING THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF AIR....IT SHAKES AT RED LIGHTS AND IS SLOWER ON ACCELERATION...

...SO i GUESS I "TOPPED OUT"

I can't remember but I believe the fastest I have been in my car is like 113. I haven't had a good opportunity yet to get it any faster. Does anybody know how much the stock tires will handle in terms of mph?

I am pretty sure that the tires aren't rated to go much higher than that (112) . But you don't have stock ones any more right?
